Starting October 5, 2020, we will begin ‘Daily Devotions with Pastor Edie’. Devotional videos will start at 8:45 am, Monday through Friday through October 30, 2020.

We will use The Upper Room Disciplines: A Book of Daily Devotions 2020, working from the ‘A Guide to Daily Prayer’, Morning Prayer section. Each Daily Devotion will last about 15 minutes.

Our time together will consist of prayers, daily scripture and reflection readings, moments of silence, and a time for you to add your own personal prayers. We will conclude with the Lord’s Prayer and a blessing. We will even have some special background music from our own Greg Walker.

Please also have your Bible, and a candle (a votive, real or electric) which we will light together at the beginning of each session.

During these days of pandemic and social distancing, this is a way for us to connect—first with God, also with each other. Jesus assures us that, “…where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them.” – Matthew 18:20. (Even virtually!) This can be a great way to begin practicing a daily discipline of morning centering time with God. If you are already practicing a daily morning discipline, we invite you to use this time as a supplement or even an alternate for October.

We look forward to this time as Christ meets us in this special way together.
